چکیده
Seabed offshore pipelines are widely applied to carry fluid over long distances of the seafloor. The design is conducted bear quite a few environmental loading circumstances in order provide well-guarded and reliable transition. Fluid leakage pipeline vibration due failure prime causes accidental catastrophes. Scour phenomena occur around currents and/or wave conditions, consequently causing susceptibility failure. Then, scouring propagation rates require be studied three dimensions, namely beneath normal longitudinal direction itself. In this research, Artificial Intelligent (AI) models used derive new regression equations based on laboratory data for estimation 3D scour patterns while seafloor exposed simultaneous impacts waves. way, chiefly experimental investigations by Cheng colleagues, seven sets dimensional parameters were given terms Shields’ parameter waves, Keulegan–Carpenter number, ratio embedment depth diameter, orbital velocity current velocity, wave/current angle attack. Dimensionless regression-based evaluate dimensions. performance AI was evaluated various statistical measures. model our proposed performed better than reported literature. Even more importantly, we indicated that inherently has physical consistency variations dimensionless against patterns.

Numerical and Empirical Investigation of Flow Separation Phenomenon around Semi-buried Pipelines due to Steady Currents
In this paper, in order to understand the flow-pipe interaction more clearly, the variations on flow pattern around semi-buried pipelines due to steady current have physically and numerically been investigated. In physical modeling section, the experiments have been carried out in a flume with 10 meter length, 0.3 meter width and 0.5 meter depth using a P.V.C pipe with 6.35 cm in diameter (for ...

This paper presents, a set of experiments was conducted in a Plexiglas flume setup to investigate the simultaneous use of pipe and blade in the scour control around a submerged pipe. A vertical cylindrical pipe with and without a blade placed below it was selected for the experiments. The experiments were carried out in two different sates: with blade and without blade the pipe. Moreover, they ...

Most of the Codes of Practice (API, BSI, DnV, NPD) uses Morison's equation to estimate hydrodynamic loads on fixed and moving offshore structures. The significant difference in the prediction of the loads mainly arises from the assumption of the values of hydrodynamic coefficients. In this paper by analysing a full scale set of data in large KC's numbers collected from Delta Wave Flume in the N...
متن کاملEstimation of Hydrodynamic Forces on the Cylinderical Smooth Piles to Random Waves and Currents
Most Codes such as API and BSI recommend Morison’s equation to estimate hydrodynamic forces on offshore structures. Significant differences exist among these Codes due to using different methods of analysis and estimation of force coefficients. In this paper, data from full scale tests have been used to evaluate random waves and uniform current actions on the smooth piles. Four time and ...
